LOUGHGALLVS. DUNDELA
Carnegie First Division - Lakeview Park

Dundela dropped valuable points on Saturday, after a 1-0 defeat to Loughgall, who are now 10 points clear of The Duns.

Both teams started well, with Chris Guiney (playing against his former team) and Matt Burrows both having long-range efforts. The villagers first chance fell to Murphy, whose header was saved well by Tony Miskelly, playing his first game for the Duns in 5 months. Not much more chances fell in the first half for any side, but after the restart Burrows shot from a tight angle, it went wide, but it could have went anywere with a deflection. Burrows againt made a good run, and after a ball played across the line, Kerr couldn't get to it and on the break Adamczyk layed on Smith who slotted home. Just after the goal, Burrows couldn't connect to Hylands cross. Loughgall held on, as took a major step towards lifting the First division title.
